Sales Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

💾   Be a GTM Technical Expert — Lead demos and design tailored technical solutions showcasing Alana’s powerful Agent product. You’ll answer complex technical questions and clearly articulate how our AI solves customer challenges.

💾  Collaborate Cross-Functionally — Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive go-to-market initiatives and help shape our Agents through direct customer feedback and product-driven insights.

💾   Lead Customer Engagements — Serve as a trusted technical advisor in early conversations with prospective customers. You’ll understand and anticipate their needs to ensure Alana remains at the forefront of AI innovation in the industry.

What you bring
💾   5-7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or other customer-facing technical sales roles
💾   Proven success building and delivering compelling demos and presentations to diverse audiences
💾   Strong relationship-building skills, engaging with both executive sponsors and technical stakeholders
💾   Experience leading sales processes with enterprise clients and navigating complex buying cycles
💾   Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions, communicating effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
💾   Bachelor’s degree or higher; bonus if in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
💾   A knack for translating code, technical logic, and user needs into actionable product and engineering requirements.
