What You’ll Be Doing

What You Should Bring
As a Frontend Engineer at Alana, you’ll shape the experiences that define how users interact with our AI agents. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and AI researchers to create intuitive, performant, and delightful interfaces that make complex systems feel simple. Your work might include:
💾 Building responsive, elegant user interfaces for managing and steering AI agents
💾 Creating intuitive no-code tools that empower non-technical users
💾 Designing data visualizations that make agent performance transparent and actionable
💾 Working with real-time systems to bring AI interactions to life through text, voice, and visuals
💾 Shaping the frontend architecture to support rapid iteration and scalability.
Extra Credit
💾 4+ years of experience developing modern web applications
💾 Deep fluency in TypeScript and React
💾 A strong sense of design and attention to detail—your work feels polished and purposeful
💾 Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams
💾 Experience in motion design, WebGL, or interactive data visualisatio
💾 Familiarity with real-time APIs, streaming, or WebSockets
💾 Experience building or integrating AI-powered products
💾 A bias for simplicity, speed, and user empathy.
