Business Development Lead

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business Development Lead at Alana, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our market presence by building meaningful relationships across the tech ecosystem. You’ll identify, activate, and nurture partnerships that accelerate growth and amplify our impact.

💾   Build Strategic Partnerships – Develop and scale relationships with key industry players, platforms, and ecosystem partners that extend Alana’s reach and product influence.

💾  Unlock New Growth Channels – Explore non-traditional acquisition paths, leveraging our network of investors, operators, and influencers to drive qualified inbound and expand our footprint.

💾   Partner on GTM Execution – Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure our partnerships ladder up to company-wide go-to-market objectives.

💾   Engage the VC / PE Ecosystem – Build trust with top-tier investors and firms, introducing Alana as the AI partner of choice for their portfolio companies.

💾   Drive Market Insights & Expansion – Bring back insights from the field to inform product and commercial strategy while identifying opportunities in new verticals or regions.

What you bring
💾   8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem roles at high-growth tech companies
💾   Deep familiarity with the VC/PE landscape—and experience building high-leverage relationships within it
💾   Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with senior leaders and decision-makers
💾   A proven track record of structuring and closing complex partnership deals
💾   Sharp strategic instincts—you know how to prioritize what moves the needle
💾   Comfort operating independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
💾   A network of GTM leaders, investors, and operators across relevant verticals
💾   Familiarity with enterprise sales and partnership-led growth strategies.
